About Shanara

Hi, I’m Shanara.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—especially when you're carrying anxiety, relationship stress, past trauma, or the constant pressure of holding everything together for everyone else. Many of the clients I work with feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, or difficulty setting healthy boundaries, and they’re ready for something to change. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, process your experiences, and reconnect with your strengths. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, identity growth, or healing from past experiences, you don’t have to do it alone. Change is possible, and therapy can be a powerful place to begin. I work with adolescents, young adults, couples, families and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, stress, trauma-related stress, emotional regulation concerns, and relationship difficulties.

For clients who desire it, I can thoughtfully integrate faith and spirituality into the therapy process as part of holistic healing.
